There are times when you have to suspend reality when model railroad in order to do what you want. It's one of the joys of having your own model railroad. You get to make the rules of the model world. I've had this NJ International advance warning crossing sign for many years. I always wanted to install it on a layout. The problem is that it's not a Canadian sign and so it really doesn't belong in Brockville. I decided to install it anyway and I like it!
The sign flashes using the Logic Rail board that is controlling the crossing gates behind it. It's a nice touch that I know doesn't belong, but I say, "so what!?"
