I purchased a replacement NJ International crossing signal when I was at Springfield in January. The first crossing I installed did not work properly and could not be used. I finally got around to installing the new signal and it's working the way it should. I am a huge fan of NJ International's products. They are excellent crossing signals. My only complaint is that the signals on the cantilever flash opposite from those on the signal masts. NJ International seems to have fallen off the grid, I'm not sure they are still in business.
I used the same gate from the old crossing. I had built a longer gate by gluing a piece of an unused crossing gate. The gate snapped at the glue joint. The crossing will need to be flagged until CN gets around to repairing the gate.
